Between 1999 and 2004, the Cultural Agency of Alsace published 3 editions of the Alsace Cinema and Audiovisual Guide. In 2007, in partnership with the Urban Community of Strasbourg the Alsace Location came out, entirely dedicated to the facilitating film shoots.

At a time when using the internet has become a staple of our daily lives, we now present the e-book of film shoots in Alsace, a practical and perfectly up-to-date online tool for all professionals who wish to make films in Alsace. Regularly updated, available at any time of the day and night, this English version is intended for any international production team wishing to find out about the possibilities that the Alsace Region offers for production, shooting and post-production. It also lists all the resources available to support the organisation of a film shoot in Alsace, namely all the cinema and audiovisual professionals working in Alsace (technicians, production companies and service providers), but also a variety of other useful contacts (accommodation, transport, other organisations).

And finally to give a detailed idea of what the region has to offer, it also includes a large selection of over 200 location photos grouped into 10 themed Location portfolios.
